Within the framework of the Binational Forests and Territories Project, yesterday, June 5, children and adolescents, protagonists of actions of change, participated in the fair for World Environment Day, organized by the Municipal Environmental Commission in the Plaza de Armas of Quillabamba.
We highlight the participation of various educational institutions such as Manco II, I.E. Túpac Amaru, I.E. 701, I.E. La Inmaculada, Urusayhua Higher Institutes, Camisea, Signos de Fe, De Vida, among others.
In this space, in a playful way, they participated in activities such as dice-storytelling, coloring and discovering biodiversity, and the memory game of medicinal and native plants, promoting environmental care and learning about the importance of water and biodiversity.
Likewise, parades and solid waste collection were carried out for Environment Day, demonstrating a clear commitment to the defense of their ecological rights.
